(Beijing, November 16) On the second day of the "Good Luck Beijing" 2007 International Judo Open, Yury Panasenkov of Russia beat China's Wang Fan with an "ippon" in the men's 81kg group preliminaries. After the match Panasenkov said he was satisfied with the win as his opponent was not really in form.

Commenting on his own performance today, Panasenkov said he had well adjusted himself quite soon, and had done a good job. He said he had come to Beijing to experience the technical characteristics of the Chinese judoists. On the performance of his Chinese opponent, Panasenkov thought Wang Fan just needs more training and experience.
